What are restless legs? Do they try to get up out of bed without you?

Get yourself to a good homeopath – for godsake don’t take any drugs. Just a cursory lock through my homeopathic repertory yielded 3 remedies which treat the symptoms: Restlessness, leg, night, bed, in Exertion, physical ailments from —Rhus tox, Carbo veg and Ruta grav. Does the restless leg stop when you stop the running? Does anything make it worse/better? Restless leg syndrome recently became a diagnosable syndrome (and I’m not saying that’s what you have, only that the syndrome is medically recognized now). My father has it. Always at night, legs feel like ants crawling up them, sometimes they twitch. It’s related to Parkinson’s but is =not= Parkinson’s, and has something to do with the L-Dopa amount in the brain. He’s in contact with a MD in Boston who had made it his speciality. Briefly, reducing stress, etc. may make it a bit better at times, but the only thing found thus far that will effectively control it is drugs. Email if you want the MD’s name. And again, I’m not saying you have it, only that what you describe has some similarities to what my father has.
