Question:

I had a six hour hyperbaric oxygen treatment for "the bends" I got while scuba diving. It didn’t seem to make any difference. However, perhaps I did not have enough of it. Before you buy.

you do not have to eat the salad, chewing it is enough. What happens is that the nitrate from the salad is converted to nitrite by bacteria on the back of the tongue and this in turn is changed to nitrous oxide what kills the bacteria that cause D. so you can spit the salad out after chewing. weird.
