Response:
Essential oils are distilled from parts of plants, herbs, flowers, etc. They only contain natural substances. There are companys who adulterate the essential oils with other less quality oils, chemotypes, and in some cases carrier oils such as almond etc. Most bottles will say 100% pure essential oil and unfortunaately they are not pure. There is a huge difference in quality and price of oils. You should only buy oils sold in dark bottles. They should all be varying prices, if they all cost $5.00 something is very wrong. They may be synthetic. I carry esential oils that are from France and are certified. Most are wild or organic. They are HEBBD certified meaning certified of the botanical origin and biochemically defined. They are sold 95% to the pharmaceutical industry in France.
